Early age:

Alphonso Davies was born on 2nd November 2022 to Liberian parents in Buduburam, a refugee camp in the African country of Ghana. Alphonso Davies is the fourth youngest of six siblings. This made Davies, aged 15 years and 3 months, the youngest Canadian footballer to sign a USL contract. Davies made his professional football debut for Whitecaps FC 2 in April 2016.
